Introduction

Cellular and Molecular Biology give a very important contribution, theoretically and practically, in the development of knowledge especially in medicine. Molecular medicine encompasses physical, chemical, biological, bioinformatics and medical techniques. Over the last decade, major advances have been made in our understanding of both normal biological processes and basic molecular mechanisms underlying a variety of diseases. Knowledge obtained from basic cellular, molecular, genetic and epigenetics studies has enabled the development of strategies for the modification, prevention and potential cure of human diseases.
This conference and workshop held as continuation of our understanding about important role of biomedical science, particularly molecular medicine. We greatly hope there will be a great discussion about recent advances in molecular medicine and its applications related with health science and disease. Highly reputable foreign and native speakers are invited to share their knowledge and experiences about the advancement in molecular medicine and techniques. Free papers as well as poster presentations that have a great contribution on the ongoing discussion on molecular medicine, including genetics and epigenetics, regenerative medicine and non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases as well as complementary and alternative medicine are invited. Importantly, there will be a two-day parallel workshop on bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is an emerging and increasingly important scientific discipline. It is indispensable to answer questions on the structure, function and evolution of biological entities through the design and application of computational approaches, and at the end to increase our understanding of human health and disease.
