The Bioinformatics Core for Genomic Medicine and Biotechnology Development ( The GMBD Bioinformatics Core) is a consortium formed by collected efforts of bioinformatics research groups in Taiwan, and is funded by the National Research Program for Genomic Medicine. We provide various tools which include sequence homology and similarity search tools, sequence analysis softwares ( from both in-house and open source), microarray data analysis platform, phylogenetic analysis tools, and structural analysis tools and databases. In this workshop, we will show the audience how to use our website as a toolbox, and demonstrate tools that are handy to use for the analysis from DNA to protein, as a support for system biology research.
