Subunit: Interacts with MAPK14 and 14-3-3 proteins Selected PDB 3D structures from [IMAGE] and Proteopedia [IMAGE] for CDC25B (see all 15): 1CWR (3D) [IMAGE] 1CWS (3D) [IMAGE] 1CWT (3D) [IMAGE] 1QB0 (3D) [IMAGE] 1YM9 (3D) [IMAGE] 1YMD (3D) [IMAGE]
Function: Tyrosine protein phosphatase which functions as a dosage-dependent inducer of mitotic progression. Required for G2/M phases of the cell cycle progression and abscission during cytokinesis in a ECT2-dependent manner. Directly dephosphorylates CDK1 and stimulates its kinase activity. The three isoforms seem to have a different level of activity Tyrosine protein phosphatase which functions as a dosage-dependent inducer of mitotic progression. Catalytic activity: Protein tyrosine phosphate + H(2)O = protein tyrosine + phosphate
Similarity: Belongs to the MPI phosphatase family Contains 1 rhodanese domain [IMAGE]
